Embroidery

Embroidery is the decoration of fabric using a needle and thread, just these days these big nifty machines carry the job at much faster pace.

Benefit: Embroidered logos or crests have raised, almost 3D effect details and give clean and professional look. It’s also the most long lasting decoration method.

A simple JPEG file is required from yourselves. All logos will have a once off set up digitising fee.

Most commonly used for workwear, trade wear, corporate uniforms and club crests.

Direct to garment print

Direct to Garment, or DTG printing is the process where a printer applies a specially formulated water-based, eco friendly ink directly onto the garment, using inkjet technology.  Think of a paper printer, only bigger.

Benefit: Delivers full colour, soft feel, super detailed, photographic, environmentally friendly artwork.

A PNG file in at least 300dpi with transparency is the best option, but you can upload a JPG or PDF too. Please ensure colour is in RGB format.

Most common for bulk t-shirt printing, marathon runs, gigs, charities or transition year hoodies.

Transfer or Vinyl print

Transfer printing is the process in which the design is first printed on to a print media and later transferred to a textile. Whereas vinyl printing technique is when the design is cut from a coloured vinyl media and then pressed onto the clothing under high heat.

The design must be uploaded as a vector graphic – outlined .PDF or .EPS.

Benefit: most cost effective for text logos or artwork in a few colours only and low quantities. Can be applied on most types of apparel.

Mostly used for workwear hi vis vests and jackets, waterproof gear, initials or hen and stag t-shirts, hoodies.
